Outstanding period look, sturdiness, quality and durability. FlatRacer BMW R2v Europa tank cap kit, developed by us as a straight swap for the functional but not that attractive flush black BMW cap.

It fits all BMW R2v tanks made after 1976 fitted with screw in, flush black caps (not certain G/S types). Made of T6 high quality alloy, the cap features a recess for a 16mm BMW enamel badge (included but not fitted as best when the cap positioned on the tank). The FlatRacer Europa top cap is vented through a discreet breather hole by the enamel badge.

Simple screw in operation, non lockable. It includes the FlatRacer designed alloy adaptor collar as seen on our Monza 2.5 caps (so interchangeable), pre-fitted with a brand new and an original BMW top dust seal and lower sealing solid o-ring. Two finish choices for the top cap, either satin brushed or polished alloy, please do let us know your choice. 1 - The BMW 16mm enamel badge is supplied with a 3M adhesive backing.

However, to ensure perfect fit, we would strongly suggest that you clean thoroughly the recess area for the badge so there are no trace of grease or other contaminants. As an added safety measure, please drop a tiny amount of superglue or similar to ensure the badge is properly and safely positioned in place.
