AFAM Easy-Riv Chain Riveting Tool. From new most motorcycles are fitted with a rubber damper mounted to the front sprocket, which significantly reduces transmission noise from the chain passing over the front sprocket whilst riding. AFAM chain is manufactured in Japan and is widely regarded as being amongst the very best chain in the world, it is extensively used in the every level of motorcycle racing. This Grade 7 chain is constructed with gold side plates using very high quality components and XS-Rings to seal the inner rollers. The result is a very high spec chain with excellent strength that reduces power loss in transmission and is very long lasting. Ognibene have developed this range of high quality'Silent' sprockets that feature a unique noise reducing rubber damper. The sprockets themselves are manufactured in a strictly quality controlled environment to ensure that they meet the demands of the modern motorcyclist. Manufactured from high quality, induction hardened C45 steel with a unique tooth profile, AFAM steel sprockets are higher quality than original equipment (OE) sprockets. These sprockets will get the best out of any chain, but when combined with a high quality AFAM chain you can expect excellent longevity and high mileage.

This simple tool has been designed by AFAM to enable you to easily join motorcycle chains using a hollow tip rivet type joining link. The tool is made from steel, so it is strong, making it suitable for repeated use. Please note that you must exercise caution when joining coloured chain links in order to avoid damaging the coloured finish.
