1975 Yamaha RD250

  

Up for sale is a very clean and well cared for 1975 Yamaha RD250 with a number of period cool upgrades. This bike has the 350 cylinder barrel kit upgrade, DG Performance increase burning rate of mixture resulting gaining around 5 hp, DG exhaust shaves 10lbs off the weight of the bike while adding 11 hp in the mid and top ranges. Tuned and cleaned Mikuni Flat Slides & electronic ignition from Newtronic makes starting bike from first kick a breeze. Oil injection has been retained and is fully operational with no leaks.

Bike has not been abused, does not appear to have been down. Expansion chambers and exhaust pipes are mint with no kinks or scrapes.

Seat is an aftermarket cafe style upgrade but looks and functions great. Rear shocks are IKON, I will also include a set of chrome Red Wing rear shocks. There is some service documentation including receipt for the piston kit upgrade, service manual and a second key. Current California registration good through April 2022 and Clean California title.
